Inactive users
A long-inactive account may be suspended, archived or deleted after notifications and a reasonable delay when inactivity harms service operation or unnecessarily reserves resources.
Where possible, the platform favors reminders and a recovery period before final deletion.
Global network rules
Any user or server operator participating in the network accepts StockageEnLigne technical and security rules. These rules apply to nodes, files, tasks, relocations and reward mechanisms.
The platform may suspend a feature, remove content, isolate a server, relocate data or close access when behavior endangers network safety, availability, compliance or fairness.
These internal rules do not remove the obligation to comply with applicable laws, including rules on unlawful content, intellectual property, payments, data protection and international transfers.
Distributing a file across several countries does not create a lawless area, legal anonymity or immunity from an enforceable decision issued by a competent authority.
Communications and service emails
StockageEnLigne may send emails needed for service operation: account security, logins, payments, support requests, maintenance, important updates and file notifications.
Occasional information about service changes may also be sent.
Illegal files and abuse
Prohibited content includes unlawful, fraudulent or malicious content, malware, sexual exploitation material, content infringing third-party rights, intellectual property, privacy or personal safety, and any use contrary to law.
StockageEnLigne does not generally monitor private files. The platform prioritizes content made accessible through a public link, published on the marketplace or identified in a sufficiently precise notice. This lack of general monitoring does not limit the user’s responsibility.
A notice may be sent to contact@stockageenligne.com and should identify the exact URL or content identifier, explain precisely why the content is allegedly illegal and provide useful contact details. StockageEnLigne may request further information before deciding.
Depending on the circumstances, the platform may disable a link, remove a publication, preserve evidence, suspend an account or request content deletion. Reasons and a way to challenge the decision are provided where required by the applicable framework.
StockageEnLigne cooperates with a valid order or request from a competent authority within applicable law. Where a suspected criminal offence threatening a person’s life or safety must legally be reported, relevant information may be sent to the competent authorities.
File deletion
The service has no recycle bin. Once a user confirms file deletion, the file immediately becomes unavailable from the account and its sharing links are disabled.
Physical deletion is then propagated to the network replicas. This may take a short technical delay when some servers are temporarily offline. Once propagation is complete, the user cannot restore the file.
Strictly necessary technical logs or regulatory backups may be retained separately for their legal or security retention period, without providing a file restoration feature in the account.
Automated use and API
Scripts, integrations or bots are not prohibited as such. However, they must follow the same rules as regular users: security, quotas, legal compliance and service stability.
If automated use requires additional privileges, prior team approval may be required.
User responsibility
- Protect account access, private links and API tokens.
- Do not misuse the service for fraud, attacks, spam or distribution of unlawful content.
- Respect copyright, image rights and rules applying to the sale of digital resources.
- Verify the content published or sold through the marketplace or private links.
